Mining Project

All available geological, geochemical, geophysical, mineralogical and metallurgical data from previous work shall be compiled and collated to effectively guide the proposed exploration work program. The surface geochemical information shall be utilized to identify possible extensions.
Existing geophysical information, if any shall be reviewed to identify possible down-depth extensions. Previous lithologic and alteration data shall be utilized to determine focal areas for mapping and projecting possible buried and/or satellite mineralization. Data collation and compilation can be done in one month.

Gold and Copper

The strategy is to search for metallic minerals such as nickeliferrous laterites, small-scale mineable chromite direct shipping ores (DSO) and small-scale mineable gold ores which characteristically have short gestation period from exploration to production to generate cash flow for long term systematic region-wide geological surveys for energy and mineral resources indigenous in the BARMM area.

A follow-up geological exploration survey is needed to explore further the gold-quartz vein identified in headwater of  Nuyo river. Follow the old drive done my small scale miners within the gold –quartz clay altered zones of which the gold grade is 3.03 grams per ton. Tunnelling of the old dogholes to develop an ore Resources within the drive itself. Hopefully the grade will improve to more than 3.03 grams/ton?

Nickle

Reconnaissance geological mapping shall be undertaken if only to verify lithologies, contacts and gross extent of alteration and mineralization. The work shall be led by a Senior Geologist assisted by two (2) Exploration Geologists. Mineralized outcrop and float rock chip samples shall be collected in the process. This program will take 3 months to finish.
Areas that will require follow-up semi-detailed mapping shall be identified in the regional mapping stage. Azimuth based Suunto-type compass, GPS, clinometers and tape shall be used. Mapping along old benches, road cuts, trails, ridges and creeks shall be conducted. Data shall be plotted in the personal computer software such as ArcGIS. To enhance presentation, CorelDraw software  Shall be used. Progress of the study shall be reports on monthly and the final after the fieldwork

Oil and Gas

Cotabato has the potential to contain commercial deposits of petroleum but is underexplored
Need to acquire more data to increase inventory of prospects and leads
But exploration is a risky business and costs are expensive
A commercial discovery is not assured so to spread the risks and expenses – need to invite a PRIVATE COMPANY or CONSORTIUM to explore
This Company or Consortium must be able to explore unhampered and without delay

60 MW Power Station

•Private investment in the Project will reduce the need for capital investment and borrowing by BARMM for electricity generation
•The Project has and will provide employment for the Bangsamoro people  during the construction and operation phases
•The Project offers training and technology transfer to BARMM personnel
•Providing the opportunity to expand the Electricity Grid and allowing for the improvement in electricity distribution in Bangsamoro
•The additional reliable generating capacity from the Sultan Power Plant supports economic and industrial development in BARMM

Coal Project

The most future significant uses of coal in BARMM are in electricity generation, steel production, cement manufacturing and as a liquid fuel. Steam coal also known as thermal coal is mainly used in power generation. Coking coal also known as metallurgical coal is mainly used in steel production.

PV Solar connected to the Hydro

The first solution that was considered was to utilise the fact that there was already huge amounts of hydro energy generation deployed on the island. When deciding the location of the Solar PV plant it is critically important to consider grid connectivity, ease of installation and maintenance of systems among other issues. As this is the case, the first solution Navitron considered was the deployment of a floating island for the Solar PV systems on the reservoir lakes behind the hydro- electric plants.
Benefits:·    No need to maintain vegetation to avoid shading.·Existing substations at the location for the hydro-electric plants make for easy connection to the grid and therefore contribute to cost savings.·    Purpose built floating islands can be sourced.·    Maintains land availability for agricultural purposes.·    The Solar PV generates more electricity due to the cooling effect of the water. This has been discounted at this early stage as there are too many unknown variables. As a relatively new concept, there is a distinct lack of supportive evidence to ensure success. As part of a larger more detailed feasibility study, this model can beassessed in greater detail for at least some of the Solar PV deployment as the benefits could be huge.
Due to the relatively tight timeframe that has been allowed for this desktop study, a more conservative approach has been taken by proposing ground mounted Solar PV, with the option to consider the floating Solar PV idea whilst carrying out full feasibility and value engineering exercise. Data gathered to date: ·    The existing Mindanao grid and planned grid updates.·    Power stations currently at planning stage.·    Backup generation location requirements.·    Solar resource maps. Once the relevant information has been gathered, it will be used to determine the optimum area locations of 5 x 50MW Solar PV plants. This is proposed to help reduce the future potential of brownouts on the island of Mindanao, and support the grid with its peak energy requirements. Key pieces of data have been extracted from the research information and can be found in this report in Section 2 “Mindanao Energy Background”.

Major Infrastructure Project

The ProjectThe proposed project is consisting of tourist, commercial, Oil and Gas depot, Industrial Eco Zone area by itself, for better security, tranquility, safety and preservation of the environment and ecological balance including its existing mangrove and other trees in the area, the site features natural sand beach front and pristine water at its western boarder which is now the focal points of commercial, industrial, tourism, Economic Zone development activities.
MINSUPALA ENERGY AND MINERALS RESOURCES DEV'T CORP (MEMRDC) as owner/ developer negotiated and submitted a written proposal to the Local Government Unit of Cotabato City for reclamation and development of basic Infrastructure and Utilities of 431.98 hectares located at Brgy. Mompong, DBS, Maguindanao and Brgy Timaco, Kalangan, Cotabato City, Philippines of the aforementioned city. The said project shall be under the (PPP) Public Private Partnership scheme where in the MEMRDC assumes full responsibility in financing implementation and execution of Reclamation Project and Development of basic infrastructure and utilities in Cotabato City International Shipping Port and Oil and Gas Depot while the local Government Unit of Cotabato City shall be tasked to facilitate processing and approval of various permits and clearances from local and national agencies of government prior to the project implementation. Sharing ratio shall be 30:70 for the LGU and the MEMRDC, respectively.
Project ProponentMEMRDC acts as the Project Proponent for the proposed reclamation and development of the foreshore area along Brgy. Mompong, DBS, Maguindanao and Brgy. Timaco, Kalangan, Cotabato CIty. The Corporation organized under existing laws of the Republic of the Philippines is noted for efficiently implementing infrastructure project, such as, dredging, bridges, piers, seawalls and mining that were government funded of financed by foreign financing.
